The City Park in Skopje, the Republic of Macedonia is within walking distance
from the city’s center. In the park there is a variety paths, the Vardar
river, and small artificial lakes. Skopje Park Fun was a collaborative project
that aimed to activate the park during the “off season,” and frame
the actions in the park in a new way.
Artists Kristen Baumlier, Hristina Ivanoska, and
Nathaniel Parsons built and prepared a series of site-specific
actions/performances which involve interaction with the audience
and spatial navigation. The works premiered as a special event at the Skopje
City park on Saturday December 9th, 2005 in Skopje, Macedonia.
